Anyways peeps just so y'all were wondering, one day I've asked my mom to give me a proper and complete version of from the day I had my ATV accident till now, and she told me that I went through what Schumacher did on the operation table, it's just that my accident was caused by a clumsy and dangerous ATV ride whilst his was caused by skiing, but yea, long story short, I actually got my skull taken out and stored in my belly, and until I got stable meaning until after my pressure in the head started subsiding, then I had another surgery to remove my skull from my belly and to insert it back in my head, thanks to my intelligent surgeons whom actually even managed to think of such a brilliant idea of keeping my skull stored in my own body to keep it from deteriorating, :D I must say thank you surgeons from Jersey Shore, y'all did a real magnificent job, and to even manage to keep me alive n walking even now, ok back to the story :-S sorry ppl for the interruption, yea i was in 5 weeks of coma though, and in that time I had my peaceful beauty sleep that I've missed out before my accident xD anyways I really give thanks to my Christian God too for sending my aunt's (who lives in America) friends and not to forget Pastor Dave and uncle Efren too whom always came bedside my bed to pray even when I was in coma =D I felt so blessed then, and was real lucky to hv made quite a sum of church friends a week or 2 after my arrival and before my accident, but anyways I too pray for Schumacher to wake up n start racing again, else there would be less one race car driver in the world :-S

Story about my life and death
If you wanna get to know me I will have to tell you first about me before the accident.
My name is Karmen and I love to party. I used to go out all the time with my friends without informing my parents. I didn`t only party but also studied in INTI COLLEGE SUBANG JAYA. International business. I took a few semesters off and started working part time, but my mom was worried that i was wasting my time. So at the age off 20 in the beginning off December, she decided to send me and my brother to the USA, and live with my uncle and aunt. The motive is to look for a college and to continue my studying and to get used to the cold weather.
When it was almost Christmas we got invited to a pre-Christmas party with was held by my cousin's friend. Because I love to have fun and partying we all joined in. After a great party the host (who was a girl) invited me to go on a ATV bike ride. So my curiosity got me to agree on her request. The ride went smooth until she made a sudden turn, that`s when I fell and hit my head.
The first thing I remember is waking up in the hospital from my coma.
My injury was so major that i had to be air lifted to the nearest hospital. And then my uncle had to call my parents up to inform them off what had happened to me. They straight away got a ticket to the US. When my parents arrived they found out that the doctor didn't operate on me because they needed my parents consent, in case if anything happened to me after they operated. The doctor also thought that since I had a major and traumatic head and brain injury, that I could not be saved anymore.
Thank GOD my relatives in the states and my parents begged the doctor to give me a chance, so finally the doctor decided to operate on me. After the operation I went straight in to a coma for 5 weeks and during the coma my parents and the nurses started massaging my whole body,to stimulate my blood circulation.
Not only that, my aunt actually called her church members and the pastor to come and pray over me.
After 5 weeks, I finally woke up. After a person wakes up from a coma they have this test called GCS (glascow coma scale), that is to indicate how conscious was I.
My first test I got a 5, which wasn't really what my mom wanted because that's actually still considered a vegetable. When I was really awake my mom told me that if I would have stayed a vegetable, she would have let me go in peace. But in a week, after the stimulation from my parents they gave me another test. And with GOD`s love and help I got remarkably to a 12. That's when I finally got to transfer out off the ICU and go in to a rehab center with therapy included.
At first I couldn't even walk or transfer to a wheel chair from the bed. So the nurses had to use a machine to lift me up and put me on the wheel chair.
When I was in the rehab center my mom called my best friend from US to Malaysia, just to bring back my memories, because my mom didn't know if my memory were still good. When she called my best friend, my best friend actually asked if I still remembered her. We called on skype but I couldn't find the words to talk to her and she saw me kicking me with my legs and my fingers were twitching and i started to cry, and so did she. She was crying because she saw me in pain and could not come and visit me.
But still I was recovering although therapy was kind off hard and painful. I managed to survive through it. Somewhere in June timeframe, it was time for me to be discharged from the inpatient hospital. That made me really happy because I got to eat home cooked food again. One off my other hobby's: eating.
Dad helped me to find the best outpatient rehab and doctor to continue prescribing my outpatient meds and he managed to get me in the best place there is (JFK) for my PT. He even found me a great OT, Kristen, who introduced my dad to buy a bioness. It actually helped me to relax my hand muscle, so that I could open up my fingers easily. At first I could only drink thicken liquids, but thanks to my speech therapist named Tennille, I managed to consume normal liquids. Just that I have to turn my head to the left whenever I take a sip. I also had my 21st birthday celebration with my friends in the current outpatient hospital that I was in. The hospital was actually a client off the law firm. The law firm asked us all to create a Christmas holiday card as a competition. And if whoever's card got chosen will win a prize from the law firm. They actually sent to 4600 clients to vote and I got chosen. The prize was a i tune 75 gift card from the US store. I also won another competition, which was who sold the most cookbooks to help raise funds for the hospital. I actually sold 58 books. And the second highest had 20 or 30 more books to sell to catch up to me. My prize was 25 USD giftcard to any of my choice of my likings.
My great dad managed to take a year off just to accompany me during the whole entire year that I was in the States. When it came to December, mom came to visit & she brought my therapists & friends there some souvenior from Malaysia. And she stayed to accompany me on the flight back to Malaysia.

My injury & what happened to me
Ok here's my story I went to USA when I was at the age of 20 last year in December to find for a college to continue my studies & to get used to the weather there. Then like when it was close to Christmas my cousin's friend invited all of us teens to join, my bro, me, n lastly my cousin. So all of us went & after the party the girl invited me to try to ride the ATV bike with her so out of my curiosity I did n that's where I got my accident like it happened when the girl made a turn n I fell n cracked my skull n it became so major that even the police n the ambulance came n they had to airlift me up to the hospital, n my parents got a call straight from my uncle n aunt from the states n they bought the air ticket to USA, but who knew when I got into the hospital the doctor thought it was an über n major traumatic brain injury & that I had no hope to be saved already so he resisted by not operating on me until my parents came in case if when he operated & I'd really died on the operating table so then when my parents finally came everyone in my family begged him, then he only finally decided to operate on me n save my life, then after that I went into coma for 5 weeks after that 5 weeks I got to do a test n it's called the Glasgow coma scale test if I get between 12-15 n below I'm considered a vegetable, n the first week I got a 3 n mom was sad but after all my parents n nurses massages n all I got up to a 12 after another round of test n I went into an outpatient hospital, not only that but my aunt Nancy's church members & pastor came & prayed over me, so I then continue to have my first therapy there n worst part was mom said if I couldn't pass the test I'll be a vegetable n she would most probably disowned me. Anyways after I think in June timeframe I got discharged from the inpatient hospital n go to an outpatient hospital. Not only that but my dad was accompanying me throughout the whole time cause he took a year off from work, between mom n dad mom tried too but she couldn't cause her boss was kinda strict n dad's wasn't really, so it's not mom's fault that she couldn't be with her daughter, anyways after I was an outpatient I enjoyed it at first n dad was still there trying to get me the best outpatient therapist there is in our city n he actually managed!! He got me JFK but that's also with doctor's recommendation before I could go in n dad searched high n low for the best outpatient doctors again n he did it again he managed to searched for dr. Wu which convinced JFK that in few months time it'll be my 21st birthday n that I'm actually legal to go into JFK already n after dr. Wu which leads to dr. Mc. Cagg which was the doc that prescribed me the outpatient meds. N best was Kristin which was my OT cause she introduced bioness to my dad which was quite expensive but dad bought it anyway & with the usage of it every time I'm with either Kristin or dad during the weekends every an hour an a half without failure, my hand movement actually got better. Not only that but she actually made me walk from her office to the cafeteria every time when I'm with her without failure too. Not only that but Dana & Jessica my PT helped me loads too she thought me how to climb up the stairs n walking was her teachings too. And Michelle, Brittany & Nicole trained me how to lower my tone n speak loudly so that it'll be clear to everyone's hearing. N thanks to Tennille for making me be able to consume normal thin liquids just that due to my injury my body isn't fully recovered yet so I still have to turn to my left while drinking so that's not her fault too. I also had my 21st birthday celebration with my friends in the hospital that I was currently in too. Anyways mom did her part too by coming in June timeframe to visit me after I got out of the inpatient hospital just to check is everything is still good n to learn what the new therapist has got to teach her how to stretch n massage me at home n to also come in December to accompany me back through the flight as dad can't handle it alone n best part was that she actually bought everyone I knew n who treated me a present some even had two. Sorry guys pictures coming up soon cause its kinda hard to update it by phone.
